SCHOLARSHIPS Electric Cooperative Youth Tour Essay Contest: Juniors and Sophomores within the Nodak Electric Cooperative service area can win an all-expense paid trip to Washington DC June 10-16, 2017. Students on the tour learn about electric cooperatives, American history and US government, take part in National Youth Day, visit North Dakota’s representatives in the House and Senate, and explore the sights of Washington DC. Submit an essay addressing the topic: "Democracy is the Foundation of our American Way of Life and of Cooperative Enterprise”. The One Act Play Cast and Crew will present “The Tribunal” at 8:00 (note the time change) tomorrow evening in the auditorium. Everyone’s invited to attend.

FCCLA members interested in participating in STAR events please meet TOMORROW after school in the FACS room for a brief informational meeting. Plan on an hour to learn about the event you would like to take part in.

Congratulations to the Cross Country Team on a fantastic season. The Varsity Boys placed 26th out of 49 teams and the Varsity Girls placed 11th out of 47 teams. Congratulations to Cailee Peterson on her 3rd place finish and being named North Dakota’s Outstanding Senior Athlete.

Dante Agnes also had a big weekend as he was selected as North Dakota Special Olympics Male Athlete of Year and received his award on Saturday in Fargo.

Students willing to participate can be entered into a weekly drawing. Please check your email for details!
