The Book Fair will be open during regular school hours except TOMORROW when it will be open until 9 PM for the Christmas Concert.

Sanford Mayville Medical Center is holding a UND R-COOL-Health Scrubs Camp. The program is sponsored by UND, and focuses on increasing awareness and sparking interest in students in grades 8-12 by introducing students to a variety of health careers in rural North Dakota through creative and interactive activities. The camp will be held at Sanford Mayville Medical Center on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. There is no cost to students, and a lunch and snacks are provided. Applications can be picked up and returned to Stacy Hanson by the deadline of December 16th. For more information, contact Doris Vigen at 701-788-3800 or doris.vigen.

Junior Bank Board meets next Monday, December 12th, at 7:30 AM in the Mayville office.

The MayPort Community Club WinterFest will take place TOMORROW through Saturday! There will be a ton of fun activities for the whole family! Go to mayvilleportland.com/winterfest for all the details. The schedule of events is also in the Traill County Tribune, and on posters around town.

The High School Music Department will present its Christmas Concert TOMORROW at 7:30. Parents of music students whose last names begin with N-Z are asked to bring 1 dozen bars or cookies.

Mayville Lutheran JAM has been canceled for today.

There will be a Student Council Meeting TOMORROW at 3:05 sharp! The last ten minutes will be for those attending the State Conference. This meeting is mandatory!!!! If you cannot be here see Mrs. Torgeson.

Starting tomorrow, if your lunch plate has a white sticker on the bottom, you will get to choose a small gift from the Cooks! If the gift is something you can’t use, please pass it to someone else J

Totals for the High School Food Drive are as follows: 9th– 243 items; 10th– 212 items; 11th – 340 items; and12th – 202 items. Our goal is 1600 food items to take a trip to the Delchar Theater. We need 603 more items to reach our goal. Keep helping out the families in need in our community 🙂 Let’s all bring items for our local Food Pantry!

High School Choir will meet today; both Band and Choir will meet tomorrow.

Congratulations to Lily Moch of 8J, and Nic Dale of 8H for winning the Geography Bee in their classes. Both will represent their respective classes on December 20 in the Middle School Geography Bee!

Hear the mighty Wurlitzer and enjoy the story of the night the Three Kings, following the star to Bethlehem, stop at the home of Amahl, a poor shepherd boy who lives with his widowed mother. The miracle of Christmas is the magic of this wonderful tale! Tickets may be purchased on-line at Fargo Moorhead Opera Company.

Today the Wrestlers will leave at 4:00 to compete in Central Cass starting at 6:30. Tomorrow the Wrestlers compete in the HCV Dual Tournament which starts at 9:30. Let’s all come out and support the Patriots!

It is time to sign up for the 2018 educational trip to Spain. All students who have completed Spanish II or will complete Spanish II by May of 2018 are eligible. You will receive a $200 discount if you register by TODAY. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Germundson.
