Seniors, Mrs. Nelson is looking for volunteers to help get kids into their costumes for the PBJ Christmas programs December 11 and 18, at 1:30 and 6:30. Please call her if you’d like to help.
Sanford Health Center is hosting a SCRUBS Camp Monday, January 15, from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM at Sanford in Mayville. Students in grades 8-11 are invited to attend. The camp exposes students to careers in the health field. If interested, pick up an application from Mrs. Hanson. Applications are due by December 15th & it is limited to 25 students.
There will be auditions for the MSU Theatre Spring play, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” tonight at 6:30 in the MSU Old Main Theatre (Main 209). Please e-mail robert.sylskar if you would like to audition for this show or even if you just want to help. If you can’t make either audition time, but still want to be part of the production, please let me know that as well. No preparation is necessary. Just show up and read. We hope to cast the show and have a couple of read-throughs of the show before Christmas break, with full rehearsal schedule resuming at the start of Spring Semester. Bob Sylskar, Director.

The Book Fair is open all this week! Hours today and Friday are 8 AM to 4 PM. Thursday hours are 8 AM to 9 PM.

The High School Music Department will present it’s Christmas Concert TOMORROW night at 7:30. If your last name begins with letters N-Z, please bring 1 dozen bars or cookies. Let’s all come out and support the Arts at MPCG!

Let’s all bring items to donate to our local Food Pantry! The last day to bring is December 13. Let’s all help those in need during the holidays. 33 middle school students have brought a total of 512 items for the food pantry. We have only about a week left to bring items to reach our goal. If you haven’t brought anything yet, please bring so we can reach our goal. Thanks to those who have brought.
The totals for the High School Food Drive so far are as follows: Freshmen 149 items, Sophomores 156 items, Juniors 221 items, and Seniors 213 items. Our goal is 1300 items this year! Remember, if you want to participate in our final celebration you need to bring 10 items!
There will be FCCLA STAR Events work nights on the following days: Monday, December 11th from 6:00-7:00 P.M and Thursday, December 14th from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Members who signed up for STAR Events should try to attend!

Congratulations to Caius Thomas of 6K and Jackson Freeberg of 6C for winning the preliminary competition of the Geography Bee in their classes. They will compete against Nolan Wengeler of 7J, Logan Baker of 7G, Kendall Nelson of 8H, and Gavin Mewes of 8J to determine the school champion on December 19."
