Our Sophomores will attend the Northern Valley Career Expo at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, next Wednesday, November 1st. Students will need to be at the school and seated on the bus by 8:10 AM. In addition, students will be responsible for their own lunch, either bringing money or packing a lunch.

Seniors, your Community Service Hours for November are due next Tuesday, October 31, at 4 PM. Mrs. Allison Johnson is looking for seniors to read to students 7th hour and common time. Please see her if you can help. This may be used for community service hours.

5th & 6th Grade Boys Basketball Teams will play in Hatton today starting at 4:00. Tomorrow the 6th Grade Team will play in the Central Valley Jamboree. Also tomorrow, the Cross Country Team will leave at 10:15 to compete at State in Valley City, and the Football Team will leave at 10:00 to play in the quarterfinals in Wyndmere at 2:00. Let’s all come out and support the Patriots!

Congratulations to Ahna Mehus and Anna Strand for receiving All Region Honors at the Regional Meet in Cooperstown on Saturday. Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country Team for their 3rd place finish out of 27 teams at the Region Meet! Congratulations also to the Patriot Football Team for a nice team win over Nelson County on Saturday with a score of 38-8. They will play in the quarter finals this Saturday at 2:00 in Wyndmere.

Today the Jr. Hi and high school students will take part in “Say Something Week”. There will be a presentation for 5th thru 8th grade students at 10:30, and another for high school students at 2:07, both in the auditorium.

Today the Volleyball Teams host Grafton, Jr. Hi at PBJ starting at 4:30, and high school teams here, C Squad starting at 4:30 followed by the JV and Varsity. Let’s all come out and support the Patriots! It is Senior Parents’ Night.

The Booster Club would like to give a huge shout out to everyone that helped make the Turkey Dinner a success! From Student workers, to coaches and all kitchen helpers, those that brought pie, and all the behind the scenes work. We appreciate all your work!
