Come to the DelChar Theatre this Friday, May 19th at 7:15 and see McKade Riedman’s Senior Film Project titled “Reflection of the Wolf”. McKade, a 2013 MPCGHS grad, wrote, directed and edited the film, and it features Kailer Riedman in the lead role. It was filmed in Portland, the Badlands and Montana. It won awards at Minnesota State University, Moorhead for Best Production Design, Best Cinematography and Best in Show! We’re proud of you, McKade! A free-will offering will be taken.

The Steele County Road Department is hiring 3 part-time summer helpers. Hours are 8 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Applicants must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license. Contact Reed Oien at 701-789-0536 for more information.

Finley-Sharon school is hosting a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament for boys and girls in grades 3-8, June 9. Forms are on the shelf outside the office.

Volleyball Girls: The forms for this summer’s Volleyball Camps are available now. Girls in grades 6 – 8 can get a form from their homeroom teachers. Girls in grades 9-11 can pick up a blue form in front of the office. The deadline to sign up for camp is May 19th.

There will be an introductory FBLA meeting at common timein the middle school commons TODAY for the 7th graders, and TOMORROW for the 8th graders.

All 6th – 11th graders interested in attending the MPCG Football Team Camp this summer please pick up and fill out a registration form in front of the office and have those turned in by the end of school. Also, the Football Team is looking for people interested in taking stats or running the video camera next fall. If you are interested please to talk to Mr. Sola.

Congratulations to the Boys 4X4 Team – Rylee Groth, Elijah Sheets, Ryan Klath, and Nick Rexine; and the Girls 4X4 Team – Holly Grandalen, Anna Bradner, Ahna Mehus, and Cailee Peterson, for qualifying for State at the Last Chance Track meet yesterday!

Today the Boys Golf Team leaves at 10:00 to compete in Maple River. Let’s all come out and support the Patriots!

Tonight is Speech Night at 6:30 in the auditorium. Tomorrow at 6:30 is the Senior Recognition Program at 6:30 in the auditorium. All Seniors should be there in appropriate dress. Also tomorrow evening is Baccalaureate at Our Lady of Peace Church at 7:30. The Spring Plays will be presented at 2:30 and 7:30 in the auditorium on Thursday. All Students and their friends and families are invited to all theses events.
