Today starts our staff 12 days of Christmas! Today is Coffee and Cozies! Teachers wear your comfy clothes and enjoy the coffee bar that is set up for you in the lounge! Thank you for all you do!

GAME DAY!  Girls Basketball vs. Grafton at HOME. C-Squad game starts at 4:30. Come out and support your Patriots!  Pep Band plays tonight.

8th Grade GBB takes on Northern Cass at PBJ today at 4:30PM. Good luck girls!

Boys BB 6:00 AM JH BB - at the Armor after school. Elem BB practice is canceled.

Daily Reminders:

LUNCH TIME! Students must stay in the commons during lunch time. You may not go back into the hallways by the classrooms until your bell rings. If you are seen in the hallways during lunch time you will be issued a detention. If you need to talk with a teacher during lunch, please have that teacher write you a pass.

REMINDER! You are only allotted 10 absences A SEMESTER! If YOU DO NOT HAVE A MEDICAL EXCUSE any other absence counts against your 10 days. Our policy states that YOU WILL LOSE CREDIT in your semester class if you are missing more than 10 days. PLEASE BE AWARE! Mrs. Blotsky will be calling home to visit with parents about absenteeism. 

SENIORS: A new sports season means a new round of opportunities to sell 50/50 tickets for Dollars for Scholars! Remember, this is a chance to win FREE MONEY to use towards your future!!  We need two seniors to sell 50/50 tickets at tonight’s game. Sign up in the office!

FBLA members that participated in Professional Dress Day - there will be a picture between 3rd and 4th hours in front of the senior lockers.

Middle School & High School Food Drive is on!!  Middle School can bring their items to their homeroom teachers.  Freshman bring to Mrs. Strand, Sophomores to Mrs. Hanson, Juniors to Mr. Hanson, and Seniors to Mr. Kunkel.  The incentives have been posted by the library.  How bad do you want to pie a teacher?!

JUNIORS: The Post-Prom Committee is looking for 6-8 volunteers to do face painting at Winterfest this year.  Face painting will be done at the Goose River Bank on Dec 13 from 5:00-6:30PM. Please sign up by December 1st.  The sign-up sheet is in the office.  The money raised will go towards the post-prom party.  Post Prom will also be running the concession stand at the Armory for WinterFest on Dec. 14th.   We need a total of 8 people to help.  Juniors - you need to do your part and sign up!  Please come into the office and find a time that you can help out!

Drumline will be meeting TODAY at Patriot Pride Time. See Mr. Marquardt with questions.

There will be a Middle School Winter Dance on Sat, Dec 21!  It will be held in the MS Commons from 6:30 and admission is $5/person from 6:30-9:30PM. Snacks and drinks will be available for sale.  There will also be a Christmas picture with props available for purchase!  Pictures will be delivered in your locker after Christmas break.

Sophomores and Seniors: The Jostens rep will be here today!  He will meet with the Senior class officers at 1:00 PM, followed by the entire Senior class at 1:15 PM in the auditorium. Following the Senior meeting, the Sophomore class will meet with him at the start of 7th hour (2:07), also in the auditorium. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory!  Please be sure to plan ahead for OWE or STW.

 It’s time to JAM again!! We will celebrate this holiday season by going on a bus trip to Red Ray Lanes in GF for an evening of Cosmic Bowling!!  Plan to attend on Saturday, Dec 7th from 9:30pm-11:30pm.  We will leave from Mayville Lutheran Church at 8:15 pm and return by 1am. This is open to all students in 6-12th grade. You must sign up to reserve a spot, deadline is TODAY!  Cost is $5.  Pizza will be provided, however if you want anything from concessions, bring extra money.  Text Tami at 218-686-5479 to sign up and for any questions. 

Reminder: If you have been assigned a detention you serve it THE SAME DAY at 3:30, if you don’t attend the 3:30 detention you serve 7:30am the following day. If you miss a detention you will automatically serve double. Please take responsibility to attend your assigned detention hours. I will be coming around this morning to visit with students who missed detention yesterday and this morning.
