IT’S GAME DAY!  Girls Hockey plays in Crookston tonight vs Detroit Lakes at 7:30 PM.  Jr High Wrestlers compete today at Horizon Middle School in Moorhead, students are dismissed at 2:40.  Good luck Patriots!

Daily Reminders:

Rubber bands are not allowed for use by students.  If you are caught with a rubber band, you will be suspended.  You have been warned!

All students that plan to take School-To-Work 2nd semester should stop by and see Mrs. Connick by Wed, Dec 18th.

The High School Music Winter Concert is this coming Monday, Dec 16th at 7:30 PM.  Music students with last names beginning with N-Z please plan to bring a dozen treats to share after the concert.

Drumline will be held today during common time. 

FBLA Raffle Tickets are due Monday to Mr. T!

The Mayville-Portland Community Club’s Winterfest is this weekend!  There are lots of fun activities from a children’s story hour at the library to a photo booth at Mae’s and Santa & cocoa with a hayride!  Please see the flyer posted by the office for more details and times!

Middle School & High School Food Drive is on!!  DRUM ROLL PLEASE … our current totals are 506 items for Middle School and 534 items for High School!  Friday is the last day to bring items!! We need more items!  Middle School can bring their items to their homeroom teachers.  Freshman bring to Mrs. Strand, Sophomores to Mrs. Hanson, Juniors to Mr. Hanson, and Seniors to Mr. Kunkel.  The incentives have been posted by the library.  How bad do you want to pie a teacher?!

The Book Fair is here!  The Book Fair is in the library now through the 17th. Reminder teachers that the library is closed due to the Book Fair.

Reminder: If you have been assigned a detention you serve it THE SAME DAY at 3:30, if you don’t attend the 3:30 detention you serve 7:30am the following day. If you miss a detention you will automatically serve double. Please take responsibility to attend your assigned detention hours. I will be coming around this morning to visit with students who missed detention yesterday and this morning.
