Daily Activities:

IT’S GAME DAY!  Girls Basketball plays vs Midway-Minto tonight at Midway High School.  Games start at 6:00.  JH GBB also plays in Midway starting at 3:45, students are dismissed at 2:05. Boys Hockey plays Highland Park tonight starting at 5:30, students are dismissed at 10:00.  Good luck!

Daily Reminders:

Students - we will be testing on Monday 12/16 first hour. This includes Grades 9-12. Please remember to charge your Chromebooks!

 

UPDATE: Rubber bands are not allowed for use (in a negative way) by students.  If you are caught using a rubber band inappropriately, you will be suspended.  You have been warned! This includes rubber bands used to shoot things across the room, used to snap one another with, etc. This does not include rubber bands for your braces (unless used inappropriately) If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Blotsky.

 

All students that plan to take School-To-Work 2nd semester should stop by and see Mrs. Connick by Wed, Dec 18th.

 

The High School Music Winter Concert is this coming Monday, Dec 16th at 7:30 PM.  Music students with last names beginning with N-Z please plan to bring a dozen treats to share after the concert.

 

FBLA Raffle Tickets are due Monday to Mr. T!

 

The Cheer and Post Prom members that are helping with Face Painting tonight - please be at the Goose River Bank by 4:30 today!

 

The Mayville-Portland Community Club’s Winterfest is this weekend!  There are lots of fun activities from a children’s story hour at the library to a photo booth at Mae’s and Santa & cocoa with a hayride!  Please see the flyer posted by the office for more details and times!

 

Middle School & High School Food Drive is on!!  Today is the last day to bring items!! We need more items!  We will accept a $10 donation in place of your ten items.  We will accept donations or food items until 3:30 PM today.  Middle School can bring their items to their homeroom teachers.  Freshman bring to Mrs. Strand, Sophomores to Mrs. Hanson, Juniors to Mr. Hanson, and Seniors to Mr. Kunkel.  The incentives have been posted by the library.  How bad do you want to pie a teacher?!

 

The Book Fair is here!  The Book Fair is in the library now through the 17th. Reminder teachers that the library is closed due to the Book Fair.
