Kendall NelsonFCCLA is proudly celebrating the 75th year of the organization.  We believe the FAMILY part of the name of our group is important to everyone.  Since we are wearing our crazy socks today, our love for our families should knock our socks off!  Did you know that there are approximately 257,152 family households in North Dakota?  Celebrate them all this week!

IT’S GAME DAY! Girls Basketball plays in Hatton-Northwood tonight!  Jr High Girls games start at 4:00pm, students are dismissed at 2:55pm. JV game starts at 6:00, followed by the Varsity, students leave time is 4:30pm.

Daily Reminders:

Students are not allowed to park behind the building.  You must park in the parking lot in the front of the building. 

Congratulations to Grace Koshney on making First Team All-Section for 8A MN Girls Hockey, and to Nora Peterson for making Second Team All-Section for 8A MN Girls Hockey!

The MPCG Speech Team took 1st overall out of 13 schools with 120 points at the Hatton-Northwood Speech Meet on Saturday, Feb. 8th. Individual results are as follows:

The Middle School After School Program is on today from 3:30-4:30 with Mrs. Gapp!

IT’S FCCLA WEEK!  Dress up days this week:  MONDAY: Crazy Sock Day, TUESDAY: Favorite Sports Team, WEDNESDAY: Flannel Day, THURSDAY: Neon Day, FRIDAY: Wear FCCLA Shirt or Red.  Check in the FACS Room daily for a prize for participating!!

MPCG will be offering a FAN BUS to Grafton for STUDENTS & COMMUNITY MEMBERS on Saturday, February 15 to cheer on the Ice Dawgs Hockey Team as they compete in their play-in game!  The bus will cost $5.00 per person and will leave at 11:30am. Please SIGN UP IN THE OFFICE if you would like to ride. We must have a minimum number to send the bus. Let’s go cheer on our Ice Dawgs!  Please let Mrs. Blotsky know if you have any questions!

Want a sweet treat? On Monday, February 17th at the double header basketball games, Mrs. Johnson’s 7th grade math groups will be selling goodies of all sorts!  There’s everything from peanut butter cookies to cake pops, carmel bark and lots more! Come support either the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Circle of Friends Humane Society by buying a treat.  All booths will accept cash only.  We will open from 4:30pm to 9:00pm, but some groups may close earlier if they sell out - so be sure to come quick before that happens!

Junior Bank Board will be this Thursday, Feb 13th at 7:30 AM in the Mayville office.

Junior Post Prom is selling assorted Country Meats beef sticks! They are only a $1! They will be available every morning from 8-8:30. Juniors come see Mrs. Satrom about selling opportunities. 

JUNIORS: There will be a Post-Prom Meeting today at Patriot Pride Time in the auditorium.

Not sure what to get your Valentine? How about an FCCLA Cookie Gram? Cookie Grams will be for sale in the FACS Room during common time on Feb 10th, 11th and 12th for one dollar! Write a message and return it to the FACS Room. FCCLA cherubs will attach a treat and deliver them to your Valentine’s locker on Friday, Feb 14th around noon.  Deliveries will only be made if the message is appropriate AND if it is signed by the buyer.  Thanks for supporting May-Port CG FCCLA!

The Patriot Pals (grades 4-6) performance date has been changed from February 11th to the 17th against HCV. The performance will take place during the Boys game. 

Students, if you receive a heart on your locker, please leave them there until after this week. Thank you!
