Encouraging thought of the day:  Madisyn Beck: FCCLA has quite a story. It was founded at a convention in Chicago in June of 1945. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a strong national Career and Technical Student Organization for young men and women in schools across America. Members have been making a difference in the areas of youth concerns, parenting, family relationships, substance abuse, mental health, peer pressure, sustainability, nutrition and fitness, teen violence, and career pathways. Our story is strong. And with RED representing our strong color, we have stories to tell! Join FCCLA and you, too, can answer the leadership question: “What’s your story?”

IT’S GAME DAY! Boys Basketball plays in Thompson tonight.  Jr High Boys games start at 4:00pm, students are dismissed at 2:25pm.  JV Boys game starts at 6:00pm, followed by the Varsity.  Students leave at 4:20pm.  GOOD LUCK PATRIOTS!

Seniors: Your school community service for this month will be completed on Wednesday, February 26 at 3:30-3:30. I will be sending you an email with your assignment. This month’s theme is Health and Wellness. Be on the lookout for more information. Thank you! 

The MayPort Community Club is searching for a volunteer or two to be the Easter Bunny at the Easter Bunny Bash on Sunday, March 29 from 1-4 at the Mayville Armory. This would be a great community service opportunity! For more information please call or text Meghan Hovde: 701-430-9192.

The May-Port CG NASP Archery Team invites you to their Spaghetti Feed!  Held March 1st from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Norseman Hall in Portland, ND.  A free will offering will be taken and all proceeds will go to help the team with equipment purchases. There will also be a 50/50 raffle drawing! We hope to see you there.

The Track Team BSN Shop is now open!  We want to get the order in as soon as possible.  Store closes on Feb 24th. https://www.bsnteamsports.com/shop/PATRIOTTF2.  There is a sign up outside the office for both Varsity and Jr High Track!  

The Patriots Softball apparel order forms are available outside the office!  Orders are due by Feb 17th.  There is also a sign up outside the office for Softball!

MPCG will be offering a FAN BUS to Grafton for STUDENTS & COMMUNITY MEMBERS on Saturday, February 15 to cheer on the Ice Dawgs Hockey Team as they compete in their play-in game!  The bus will leave at 11:30am from the high school. Cost for the bus is being covered by the Ice Dawgs Hockey Club!  Please SIGN UP OUTSIDE THE OFFICE if you would like to ride. We must have a minimum number to send the bus. Let’s go cheer on our Ice Dawgs!

Want a sweet treat? On Monday, February 17th at the double header basketball games, Mrs. Johnson’s 7th grade math groups will be selling goodies of all sorts!  There’s everything from peanut butter cookies to cake pops, carmel bark and lots more! Come support either the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Circle of Friends Humane Society by buying a treat.  All booths will accept cash only.  We will open from 4:30pm to 9:00pm, but some groups may close earlier if they sell out - so be sure to come quick before that happens!

Junior Post Prom is selling assorted Country Meats beef sticks! They are only a $1! They will be available every morning from 8-8:30. Juniors come see Mrs. Satrom about selling opportunities.
