Happy Retirement Mrs. Murphy
Mrs. Murphy is originally from Fargo, ND. She graduated from Mayville State in 1985 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood and a BS Degree in Elementary Education. She began teaching kindergarten at Mayville Elementary [currently known as PBJ] in 1987. Her entire career has been with the MP/MPCG school district. She has been the kindergarten teacher the whole time with one year spent in 1st grade. Her and her husband Phil have 3 grown children and 2 grandsons. They did many cross country trips with their children when they were younger, all in a minivan and conversion van. They love to travel and plan to do more in her retirement. They also love spending time at the lake with family and friends. Their children grew up spending time at the lake and they now hope to pass that on to their grandsons. She has enjoyed her years at PBJ and will miss everyone, staff and students, VERY much. She does plan to sub whenever it is possible so keep your eyes open. She wishes the entire school a safe return to the fall. Be safe.
