On February 26th, we mailed in our Box Tops for Education submission. We have two deadlines for the school year – the first is to have them mailed by November 1st, the second is to submit them by March 1st. With our November submission, we earned $182.60 and our most recent submission was for $132.70. Our total earnings from the Box Tops program for the 2018-19 school year was $315.30.
In the fall, we mailed in the Our Family UPC codes we had collected. At that time, we earned $74.30.
So, the total we have collected for this school year is $389.60. These are all items that would otherwise be thrown away and really don’t cost anything to collect. THANK YOU to everyone who takes the time to cut off the Box Tops and the Our Family UPC’s.
This year, we have been able to purchase several items with the existing funds we have been accumulating over the past years. Listed below are just a few of the items your collection of Box Tops and UPC’s have provided our school this year:
- 2 Tables for a fifth grade classroom
- A classroom rug for Special Ed
- Reward pencils for students
- A white board easel for the hallway
- Fabric to make Christmas costumes for the school Christmas programs
- Storage crates for a classroom
- Misc. classroom supplies
Please continue to collect both the Box Tops and the UPC’s for next year.
Also, a reminder that the Campbell’s Soup company no longer offers a collection program so you do not need to collect Campbell’s Soup UPC’s or labels.
