Juniors: If you are interested in OWE for next school year, please pick up an application from Mrs. Strand.  Applications are due April 5th!

Seniors: Community Service hours are due by the end of the day Friday. 

Seniors: It’s time to start prepping for graduation! We would like your graduation slideshow pictures submitted to Mr. Torgeson by April 1.  You may have up to 5 pictures in the slide show, and the photos must be a digital file. Please email these to Mr. Torgeson. We also need one wallet size, upright closeup color photo sent to Mrs. Hanson for the class composite and yearbook.

The ordering deadline for anyone wanting to order baseball or track apparel through the Booster Club has been extended to this Friday. Order forms can be found outside the high school office or on the Booster Clubs Facebook page. 

The school performance of MPCG’s Musical “The Love Note” will be performed today for all students in grades 6-12 at 2:00 PM in the Auditorium. Public performances will be Thursday and Friday evenings at 7:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

The Mayville Water Park is looking for students interested in lifeguarding this summer.  You need to be 15 years of age or older.  Please talk to Mrs. Torgeson if you are interested.  This goes for those who have also worked there in the past.  Please email her or talk to her in person.

High School students, are you thinking about a career in education?   Mayville State University Education and Innovation Center is looking to partner with high school students for our annual STEM Carnival.   You can get paid to work with current MSU Education Students to teach science and math concepts to young children.  This year’s carnival is set for Saturday, April 13th.     For more information please contact Jeni Peterson, jeni.peterson@mayvillestate.edu

Scholarships:

Sanford Health Foundation offers several scholarship programs for funding your post-secondary degree, including:

-Heart of Tomorrow Program for children of Sanford Health employees.  This scholarship is designed to assist employees' dependent children with a $1,000 gift to be used in their pursuit of post-secondary education.  Applications are due March 29, 2019.

-Health Network Scholarship offers a $2,000 scholarship opportunity to students pursuing a post-secondary degree in a health care-related field. By offering this scholarship, we are making an investment in our region's future workforce and the communities we serve. You do not need to be a Sanford employee to apply. Applications are due April 12, 2019

 Traill County Crop Improvement Association:  Senior pursuing a degree in an agricultural-related field.  Applicant's family must be a resident of Traill County.  Amount: $500 (4)  Due: April 15th.  Application available in the counselor's office.
