Farmer’s Bowl Parade
The 6-12th grade band students will again march in the Farmer’s Bowl Parade in Mayville this Saturday, September 14th! The parade will start at 10:00 just north of the Goose River Bank and end at the Mayville State University football field parking lot. Students are responsible for finding their own rides to and from the parade.
Students should be dressed in a good pair of jeans (as few holes as possible), tennis shoes, and the red jacket that is checked out in the music room this week. Please be at the meeting spot (grassy area next to Baker’s Funeral Home-north of the Goose River Bank) by 9:30 to get organized and warmed-up. Remember to bring your instrument! (I will bring all of the percussion equipment.)
There are a number of activities going on this day (volleyball tournaments, basketball tournaments, 6th grade football), so participation from all 6-12 grade band students is very important. If you are unable to be at the parade, please communicate that to me ahead of time through email or note in order to receive full credit.
