Encouraging thought of the day: 

Responsibility is an interesting word. If you look at it as a compound word, it becomes response-ability or the ability to respond. Responsible people are people who are able to respond to life in an appropriate way...to be accountable for their individual choices and actions. As yourself today if you are always blaming others for your choices and actions, or are you wise enough to hold yourself responsible? If you discover that you are always blaming others, take another look.

Daily Activities:

Students who take the bus: Winter gear (coat, hat, gloves) is mandatory!  You must have the appropriate winter gear on before boarding the bus.

Daily Reminders:

Concert Reminder: The 6-8th grade band and choirs will be performing tomorrow, Nov 26th in the high school gym at 7:00PM. The students should be in the music room warming up by 6:40 PM. Remember to dress up for the concert and make plans to stay for the entire time.  Families with last names N-Z are asked to bring a dozen bars or treats to serve after the concert. Contact Mr. Marquardt with any questions!

SENIORS: SERVICE HOURS FOR DECEMBER ARE DUE TO MRS. BLOTSKY BY DECEMBER 2 AT 4:00.

Any Senior looking for community service hours - the office has a project for 3 to 4 students to hang Christmas lights for a senior citizen in the community.  Please stop by the office to get the info!

NO HOODS! Please keep your hood off of your head during the school day. Thank you for your cooperation! 

CLEAR Award Nominations are due to Mrs. Blotsky today! Student’s if you want to nominate a teacher for a CLEAR Award please come and fill out the nomination form. It cannot just be the card, it needs to be the card and the NOMINATION form. Thank you!

Girls Basketball is looking for someone to help with stats for the season.  Please see Coach Ben or Mr. Sola if interested!

Tomorrow, November 26 at 3:00pm Mrs. Blotsky would like to meet with the JH Student Council in the Auditorium.

JUNIORS: The Post-Prom Committee is looking for 6-8 volunteers to do face painting at Winterfest this year.  Face painting will be done at the Goose River Bank on Dec 13 from 5:00-6:30PM. Please sign up by December 1st.  The sign-up sheet is in the office.  The money raised will go towards the post-prom party.

Letterman jacket order forms are outside the office and you can turn them into the office by Dec. 4th.

We will silently read the last 10 minutes of the class period. Mon: 8th, Tues: 1st, Weds: 6th

Reminder: 3 Tardys in any one class period equals 1 absence. Please be cognizant of the 10 day a semester rule. Remember, if you go over your ten days for absenteeism a semester you will lose credit for that class. Please BE ON TIME TO SCHOOL!
