We had our risk-assessment meeting this morning with County Health. We are at a “level three” risk right now. Students should be masked at all times UNLESS you are sitting at your desk ALONE, even in this case we do encourage masking at your desk. Students after you eat lunch MUST return to your seat and PUT ON your masks. If any student needs a break from their mask, please make sure that you are at your desk without anyone within 6 feet of you. Teachers, please be masking as often as possible. If you are moving around your classroom you need to have a mask on.
Just a reminder- this week is a short week. We will not have school this Thursday and Friday due to ND Teacher’s Convention.
CLEAR Awards! If you want to nominate a staff member for a CLEAR award you can do that in the office. CLEAR awards are due on Friday, October 30 to Mrs. Blotsky. There are CLEAR award nomination forms outside of the office.
The Music Dept is holding their annual coffee fundraiser! Music students will be sent home with order forms. There will again be cash prizes to the top 3 sellers! Please do not sell door to door, but utilize all other resources to reach your family and friends. Extra order forms can be picked up from Mr. Marquardt.
It’s time for flu shots! Traill County Health will once again be offering flu shots to our staff and students on Wed, October 21st, starting with the elementary school. Consent forms must be completed, signed, and returned to the school by 4:00 pm on Monday, October 19th. The forms are available outside the office, and online at http://www.co.traill.nd.us - click on “Departments,” then “District Health”, “Schools” and then “Vaccine Consent Form.” A suggested donation of $25 is asked for administration of the vaccine. No donation is necessary if you have ND BCBS, Sanford, or MD Medicaid insurance. A parent of another adult approved by a parent is required to be present with elementary children in grades K-4. Flu shots are given by injection only. No flu mist will be available. Please contact Traill District Health Unit with questions!
Students! Looking for a job! Miller’s is looking for part time help with evenings and weekends. See Kari at Miller’s for an application.
FFA Members: If you have a chapter t-shirt design that you want to have as our FFA shirt this year, please submit your designs to Mrs. Kieffer by today! Our next chapter meeting is tomorrow from 8:30-9:00am in the auditorium! Please pay your dues if you have not already!
Detention is in the Auditorium every day after school. Mrs. Hanson is the detention monitor this week.
REMEMBER IF YOU MOVE, YOU MASK! Please remember to take your masks home daily and return with a clean one each day!
