Reminder Parent Teacher Conferences are again tomorrow, April 4th.  These have been scheduled in advance.

It’s Prom Week! A reminder that starting today after school, the gym will be closed for decorating. The schedule for prom is posted on the website and around the school. Grand March starts at 7:30 on Saturday, April 6th and public admission prices are $5 per couple, or $3 per person.

Prom Picture Order Forms are on the table outside of the office – pick yours up today!

The Driver Education sign-up sheet is on the counter in front of the office.  Deadline to sign-up is Thursday, April 18. Any questions, see Mr. Strand.

Juniors: If you are interested in OWE for next school year, please pick up an application from Mrs. Strand.  Applications are due Friday!

DODGEBALL! There is a signup sheet in the office for Glow In the Dark Dodgeball for those attending the Post-Prom Party. If you would like to participate in this, please sign up in the office. Please remember you must wear a neon or light colored shirt to participate!

Seniors: It’s time to start prepping for graduation! We would like your graduation slideshow pictures submitted to Mr. Torgeson by April 15th.  You may have up to 5 pictures in the slide show, and the photos must be a digital file. Please email these to Mr. Torgeson. We also need one wallet size, upright closeup color photo sent to Mrs. Hanson for the class composite and yearbook.

High School students, are you thinking about a career in education?   Mayville State University Education and Innovation Center is looking to partner with high school students for our annual STEM Carnival.   You can get paid to work with current MSU Education Students to teach science and math concepts to young children.  This year’s carnival is set for Saturday, April 13th.     For more information please contact Jeni Peterson, jeni.peterson@mayvillestate.edu

Congratulations to the May-Port CG FBLA Chapter on their successes at the 2019 State Leadership Conference in Bismarck. The Chapter was awarded the Largest Local Chapter Membership award in the state of ND among other awards. National Qualifying students include Julia Kohls, Anna Strand, Ava Nelson, Teri Nelson, Bri Hutter, Hannah Ust, Jackson Braaten, Breck Fugleberg, Ila Peterson, Rylee Thompson, Taylor Garrett, Grace Koshney, and Reese Hanson. The National Leadership Conference will be in San Antonio, Texas this summer.

Congratulations to the Speech Team on hosting a wonderful meet on Saturday, and to the team for placing 2nd overall out of 15 schools. State Qualifying students this meet included Ava Nelson and Malena Twedt. The team will compete next at the Regional Meet in Thompson on April 13th.
