A thank you note from Mrs. T:
With another Homecoming Week in the books, there are a few people I would like to give a special thank you to. It goes without saying that our teachers and staff are rockstars for going with the flow all week. But this year, the student council was able to bring back the bonfire, which was very exciting, but also a little scary!
The Mayville Fire Department went above and beyond helping us out with this event. Amber Hart was amazing to work with and was my line of communication through the whole process. Thank you to the Mayville Park Board for allowing use of the bowl. I also need to give a shout out to Jasper Jacobson and his crew for helping get everything into place and also with the clean up! Dalton Linder is another one who was willing to help get everything set up. Then to all the extras for supplying the wood and helping secure that, which was also a huge undertaking.
Small town living really is the best. I am so thankful for the help we received last week! It did not go unnoticed and you are all so appreciated! Also, I apologize if I missed anyone as I am overwhelmed with the kindness and help we received, but I needed to give a shout out to all those that helped bring the bonfire back and help make it successful! The students had a blast! Thank you!
