Encouraging thought of the day: 

Do you remember the root meaning of the word influence? It literally means to flow in. You might say that when one person influences another, the example he or she is setting flows into someone else. For better or for worse, others greatly influence us. That’s why studying the lives of great people is so important. Today ask yourself this: Who in the world is influencing me in a positive way and why? And… are you being a positive influence to those around you?

We will be learning our Mission and reciting it each day once second semester comes:

We will silent read the last 10 minutes of 5th period today. 

Congratulations to our Football athletes for making the All State team!  Dawson Sedivec made All State 2nd Team, and Sammy Satrom and Sawyer Satrom both made All State 1st Team. Congratulations boys!

Daily Reminders:

REMINDER! You are only allotted 10 absences A SEMESTER! If YOU DO NOT HAVE A MEDICAL EXCUSE any other absence counts against your 10 days. Our policy states that YOU WILL LOSE CREDIT in your semester class if you are missing more than 10 days. PLEASE BE AWARE! Mrs. Blotsky will be calling home to visit with parents about absenteeism. 

NO HOODS! Please keep your hood off of your head during the school day. Thank you for your cooperation! 

CLEAR Award Nominations are due to Mrs. Blotsky by Monday! Student’s if you want to nominate a teacher for a CLEAR Award please come and fill out the nomination form. It cannot just be the card, it needs to be the card and the NOMINATION form. Thank you!

Any students wishing to stay after school to get caught up on work, or just to take care of your daily work prior to going home. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO STAY! Let Mrs. Blotsky know if you need a place to work.

Next Monday, November 25 at 3:00pm Mrs. Blotsky would like to meet with the HS Student Council in the Auditorium. Next Tuesday, November 26 at 3:00pm Mrs. Blotsky would like to meet with the JH Student Council in the Auditorium.

JUNIORS: The Post-Prom Committee is looking for 6-8 volunteers to do face painting at Winterfest this year.  Face painting will be done at the Goose River Bank on Dec 13 from 5:00-6:30PM. Please sign up by December 1st.  The sign-up sheet is in the office.  The money raised will go towards the post-prom party.

High School Music Students: Please note the Winter Concert has been moved to Monday, December 16th at 7:30 PM.  

Letterman jacket order forms are outside the office and you can turn them into the office by Dec. 4th.

Reminder to FCCLA members: Christmas Greens pickup date is this Saturday, Nov 23rd from 1:30-4:00 PM.
