Daily Reminders:

BRRR!!  It’s cold!  Those riding the bus, please remember wearing the appropriate winter gear is required when getting on the bus. We have forecasted wind chills as low as 35 below.  This can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes!  

There will be an FCCLA meeting today during common time in Mrs. Capouch's room. Members should bring their white elephant gifts!

The High School Music Winter Concert is this coming Monday, Dec 16th at 7:30 PM.  Music students with last names beginning with N-Z please plan to bring a dozen treats to share after the concert.

SENIORS: A new sports season means a new round of opportunities to sell 50/50 tickets for Dollars for Scholars! Remember, this is a chance to win FREE MONEY to use towards your future!!  New this year, we are using Sign-Up Genius for online sign-up. An email was sent to all seniors, and all information posted on Schoology as well!

Drumline will be held Thursday during common time. 

The Mayville-Portland Community Club’s Winterfest is this weekend!  There are lots of fun activities from a children’s story hour at the library to a photo booth at Mae’s and Santa & cocoa with a hayride!  Please see the flyer posted by the office for more details and times!

Middle School & High School Food Drive is on!!  Friday is the last day to bring items!! We need more items to reach our goals!  Middle School can bring their items to their homeroom teachers.  Freshman bring to Mrs. Strand, Sophomores to Mrs. Hanson, Juniors to Mr. Hanson, and Seniors to Mr. Kunkel.  The incentives have been posted by the library.  How bad do you want to pie a teacher?!

The Book Fair is here!  The Book Fair is in the library now through the 17th. Reminder teachers that the library is closed due to the Book Fair.

Reminder: If you have been assigned a detention you serve it THE SAME DAY at 3:30, if you don’t attend the 3:30 detention you serve 7:30am the following day. If you miss a detention you will automatically serve double. Please take responsibility to attend your assigned detention hours. I will be coming around this morning to visit with students who missed detention yesterday and this morning.
