May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.  Our school counselors are sponsoring a free movie at the Delchar Theater in Mayville.  Our cap for seats is 75 seats per show.  There will be two showings.  May 12th at 7:00 p.m. and May 16th at 2:00 p.m. 

Synopsis: TELL MY STORY follows a grieving father as he seeks answers after his 14-year-old son dies by suicide. He uncovers painful truths about the lives of teens, the impact of unfettered access to the internet and social media, and the shocking rise of depression among America’s youth.

Since we have a cap of 75 seats, we are asking you to reserve your tickets through Eventbrite.  The tickets are FREE, this is just to keep track of availability.

The film was rated by Dove.org as acceptable for ages 12+ - “Watching this documentary might literally help in saving someone’s life, and it is done in a sensitive and caring way and is well worth seeing.”  There is some profane language in the movie so some may prefer 16 years or older.
