The volleyball teams are looking for a few stats people for the high school teams. Please contact Mrs. Hanson if you would be willing to help out.
There will be a meeting at common time Wednesday in the auditorium for all students in grades 7-12 who are interested in the One Act Play.
SENIORS: We still need volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets for Dollars for Scholars for the volleyball game this Thursday and the football game on Friday. This will earn you credit toward an extra Dollars for Scholars Scholarship in the Spring! Please help us out and sign up in the office.
The Booster Club is hosting a Tailgate supper this Thursday, August 30th from 5:00 until gone here at the high school during the volleyball games against Central Cass. For a $6 donation you will get pulled pork on a Soholt Bun, chips, bar and water. Everyone is welcome!
Juniors and sophomores will be given the opportunity to participate in taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 10th. The PSAT serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship, which honors the top 2% of students in the country. The test measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills and writing skills. Only juniors qualify for the National Merit Scholarship. There is a $16 testing fee. Students planning to register for the test should bring a check to Mr. Varriano made out to MPCG. The deadline to register is September 7th.
The Junior High Football team plays HCV at Central Valley today at 4:30. Students are excused at 3:00. JV Football plays at Thompson tonight at 6:30. Leave time is 4:45. Good luck Patriots!

Congrats to Anna Strand for placing in the Top 20 for Varsity Girls at the Cross Country Meet in Jamestown on Saturday! The Varsity girls finished 2nd as a team, JV girls placed 3rd, and JV boys placed 5th. Great Job Patriots!
