On October 5th at 5:30 pm there will be a Parent Player meeting at the MPCG High School Auditorium for boys in Grades 5 & 6 interested in playing basketball! If you are unable to attend please email Katie Richards at richardssioux41@gmail.com.
Bring out your inner diva/divo and be a part of the One-Act Play! Audition times for the One-Act Play will be today during PPT for students 8-12 and are not required to be in remediation or detention. Check in with your homeroom teachers first if needed. The date for the Region One-Act Play competition is November 3. See Mrs. Paschke if you cannot make any of those times. Rehearsals will start next week and will depend on student’s availability.
See You At The Pole will be held next Wednesday, September 28, at 8 am in front of the high school entrance. All are welcome to attend!
JAM is back! Mayville Lutheran JAM will kick off our season by going to the Acres of Terror! Come if you Dare! This bus trip will occur Saturday, Oct 1st. All 7-12 graders are welcome. Cost is $15 per person. Bring extra money if you want for convenience store stop on the way home. We will leave from Mayville Lutheran Church parking lot at 6pm, and will return around 11pm. Sign up early, as space will be limited! Please text Tami 218-686-5479 to reserve your spot or ask questions. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, Sept 28th. Don’t miss out!!
FCA will meet this Sunday at 4:00 at MPCG and then will go to Riverside for meeting and supper. Will be done by 6:30. See Coach Dockter with any questions!
Booster club has a few upcoming opportunities for seniors looking to get hours for their community service hours. We are looking for help preparing food for the Turkey dinner. Prep work for this will take place on Saturday, October 8th. We are also looking for help serving the Turkey dinner which is Sunday, October 9th. We also have the 3:3 basketball tournament coming up on Sunday, October 23rd and will need help with setting up and taking down as well as many other duties the day of the tournament.
This week MPCG FBLA will be holding its Fall Recruitment Drive!! FBLA is open to students in Grades 7-12. Paid members will receive a surprise every day! Dues can be paid to the High School Office and are $30!
The first MPCG FFA meeting of the year will be held Wednesday September 28th at 2:55 in the Auditorium. FFA is open to anyone in grades 7-12. Come learn what FFA is all about and our upcoming activities!
