Good afternoon! The spring baseball informational meeting for grades 7-12 will be taking place on either Tuesday, March 11th @ 6:00 pm @ HS or Friday, March 14th @ 6:00 pm also @ HS. This will be determined by the regional basketball schedule. Go Patriots!

Word Processing celebrated National Oreo day by sampling various flavors and creating a spreadsheet.
Over the past two days, Mr. Enget's Law & Justice class conducted their mock trial after a full week of preparation, role assignments & classroom configuration!
The kids took on the roles of jury members, going through the official jury selection process. Defense & prosecution teams were assembled with witnesses for each side. Studying the written sworn testimonies, both sides crafted their arguments carefully through focused deliberation & presented their cases to the juries through both days.
In our case, murder in the second degree & manslaughter in the first degree was levied against the defendant. As a result, was found guilty in all four rulings! Professionally dressed, the kids got a hands-on experience of our legal system & the processes set forth by the Constitution to determine justice!
The final verdict found the defendant guilty of murder in the second degree, in which was met with audible gasps of surprise brought forth by this judgement!
Lynn Slaathaug Moen & Cassie Tostenson from the Nilson-Brand Law Office graciously volunteered their time during preparation to help give professional advice to both teams & jury members, something the kids were grateful for! Mr. Kunkel served as the judge of the trial, bringing great professionalism to the court!
Mrs. Sevigny’s class observed the trial Wednesday & Ms. Ogburn’s observed the verdict today! Thank you to both of you for letting your kids get to not only see our class’s hard work, but also observe procedural due process at hand!
Everyone did a fantastic job in their role, making the project not just effective, but enjoyable! Mr. Enget is beyond proud of the kids' efforts & professionalism!
The kids & Mr. Enget would like to thank Mrs. Moen, Mrs. Tostenson & Mr. Kunkel for all their contributions & efforts in the set-up, preparation & execution of the simulation. They’d also like to thank Mrs. Sevigny & Ms. Ogburn for bringing their class’s in to observe! This was a lot of fun!

Food Prep has had a busy week learning all things fruit! Their first dish they prepared to kick off the unit was fruit pizza where they were able to showcase many different food preparation skills. 😋🍓🥝
