Ten MPCG students auditioned and were accepted into the Northwest Festival Band and Choir in Minot this past weekend. They rehearsed all day Friday/Saturday and put on some great concerts on Saturday. Congratulations to Emma Dockter for being recognized for making the festival for the past 4 years!
We were thrilled to have ND Governor candidate Kelly Armstrong and Michelle Strinden speak to our 5th grade students! Students had written letters in Social Studies class to Armstrong and his team asking them to visit. This strong message was clear in his words: "The single best way to do the next thing well is to do what you are currently doing right now well" and "Hustle doesn't take the day off; be kind, be a good person, it's really not that hard." The pair even joined our elementary students in a game, showing that leadership and fun go hand in hand.
Miss Petersen's 4th graders went on their monthly visit to the Mayville Public Library! Each student received their very own Mayville Public Library card!
The 3rd graders sang Halloween songs at the Luther Memorial Home! Several of our 3rd graders got to visit family members there!
