Mrs Soholt accepted the 5th grade challenge of eating raw Ramen Noodles today. For every bite she took, they ate a bite of baby food. Nobody enjoyed their snack!!

Congratulations to Elsie Twedt and Oliver Marquardt! They were named today as an Outstanding Performance at the Class B State Music Contest for their Baritone/Tenor Saxophone Duet, Saxophone Duo, 1st Mvt, by Gordon Jacob, and will be recognized in the Parade of Champions next year. Way to go, Patriots!

Athletics updates today: JH track and JH softball today are cancelled. JV/V softball in Grafton is postponed to tomorrow (5/9) with a 1:30 start time. Baseball in Hatton is postponed to tomorrow (5/9) at 4:30.

The May-Port CG FFA Chapter awarded their first ever MPCG FFA Senior Scholarship to the class of 2023. Three scholarships were awarded to (left to right): Andrew Aarsvold, Lucas Fugleberg, and Brady Sand. The scholarship requirements included: active participation in the FFA chapter for a minimum of two years, pursuing a post-secondary education, and have taken a minimum of three Agricultural Education courses throughout their Freshman to Senior year at MPCG. Congratulations to these three outstanding Senior FFA members!


The PBJ 4th graders went on their field trip to Bonanzaville! Everyone had a blast!!


The 5th grade students got to come and tour the middle/high school today. They got to eat lunch, take a tour, play dodgeball, and finish with a Q&A with Mrs. Blotsky and the middle school student council members. Thanks to the middle school and high school student council members for your help today!


And they're off! 23 students will represent May-Port CG at the State Music Festival this weekend in Minot! Good luck, Patriots!
