The HS band and choir performed for judges and other area schools at Mayville State on March 6. Both the band and choir received a double star rating, and the band was selected as the Outstanding Performance!

Congratulations to Jaxon Freeberg! Jaxon was named to the North Dakota Academic All-State Silver Team! High School Seniors were nominated by their Principal to compete for the honor across both Class A and Class B schools. Overall grade-point average, ACT score, extracurricular activities, community service and involvement, as well as leadership qualities are considered when choosing a student to be nominated. Jaxon is the son of Michael Freeberg and Annie Freeberg of Portland. Congratulations, Jaxon!

Spring sports are just around the corner! We will be having spring sport parent/athlete meetings next Tuesday, March 12th at 6:30. Track will be located in the gym, Softball in the auditorium, and baseball in the library. The dual sport meeting will be at appx. 7:00 following the completion of all other meetings.
