This is a weekly update from the May-Port CG School District. There are 18 active cases of COVID-19 in Traill County. We have had one staff member test positive for COVID-19 at the elementary school. A total of eight students have tested positive for the virus from the entire district. This number includes students from PBJ the Middle School and the High School. Staff and students are encouraged to wear masks in all indoor spaces and we are providing rapid testing as a screening tool. Anyone experiencing a fever or loss of taste/smell should stay home. If you have other symptoms please mask, test or stay home. We will continue to provide weekly updates and thank you for your efforts to stay healthy.

A hole in one for Meghan in disc golf today in PE 8.

Mrs. Paschke, our librarian, held morning reading this morning in the library, complete with hot chocolate! Grab a good book and come join her next time!

This is a reminder that school dismissal is at 1:45pm today. This is an early release day for our school improvement process. Thanks you!

SPC Shelbi Keller came to visit with the Juniors this morning about expenses after high school. She also talked about the ASVAB test which our Juniors will be taking tomorrow morning. Her talk today was very eye opening on expenses with needs and wants.

In an effort to minimize the increasing illness in our schools, starting Tuesday, September 7th, MPCG Schools will implement Stay Home/ Go Home, or Mask Up/Test Out Illness Guidelines. MPCG strongly encourages students with any symptoms to stay home until they are free of symptoms. If students become sick while at school, they will either go home, mask up or test out. See September 3rd morning announcements for more information. We also encourage all students and staff to wear masks, however this is not a mandate. Thank you for helping us keep healthy kids in school.

Tonight's varsity football game against Tri-State has changed locations. The game will be played in Rosholt SD instead of Fairmount ND.
