It is hard to fit all the trip highlights in one post! Seven MPCG FFA members attended the 96th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis this past week! We traveled on a bus with other FFA members from Grafton, Minto, Park River, and Central Cass. We attended sessions, workshops, explored the expo center, went on tours, and so much more! The memories made will last a lifetime! Fun was had by all!

Congratulations to Jaxon Freeberg, Emma Dockter, Rikka Edwardson, Emily Norstebon, Danica Freeberg, Serenity Gebhardt, and Hannah Ostlie! These students auditioned and were selected to participate in the 45th Annual Northwest Festival of Music, held at Minot State University this weekend. Way to go, Patriots!

Thank you to American Crystal Sugar for making a donation to MPCG FFA!

May-Port CG offers a wide variety of class offerings such as Work-Based Learning (WBL). WBL allows students to go out into the workforce during school hours to use skills learned from various classes such as Business and apply it to the working environment. The MPCG Middle/High School office has been gracious enough to employ a Work Based Learning student for 49 years! Thank you MPCG school district, Jessica Marquardt, and Joan Osland for helping to train students on some important job skills.

2nd grade invited parents/grandparents in to do pumpkin exploring. They counted the vertical lines and the seeds, found the circumference, checked to see if it would sink or float and weighed it. They made predictions before doing each activity. 🎃
